Job Overview:We run a podcast dedicated to finding India’s most interesting MSME founders, theones who are locally loved but nationally invisible. The third-generation sweet shopthat cracked B2B exports. The Tier-3 town manufacturer employing 200 peoplewith zero outside funding. We find them, earn their trust, and tell stories that makeour audience stop, listen, and learn.We are looking for a curious, driven intern who will own the full guest pipeline, fromdiscovering hidden stories to convincing the founder to show up on mic.Job Type- Internship (6 months)Location- BangaloreDepartment- Business Inner Circle (Marketing)Academic- Any graduate / pursuing graduationReports To- Marketing ManagerStipend- ₹15,000 per monthKey Responsibilities:• Hunt for MSME founders with a compelling story using Instagram, GoogleReviews, LinkedIn, local press, trade groups, and WhatsApp communities. Thebrief: locally loved, nationally unknown.• Build a sharp one-page profile on every potential guest, their business,backstory, struggle, and the hook that makes their story worth 45 minutes ofairtime.• Write and send the first outreach message, cold DM, email, or call. Figure outhow to get a response from someone who has never heard of us and has zeroreason to say yes.• Get on a call and convince the founder that telling their story on a podcast isworth their time. Many of these owners are private and skeptical. Your job is tomake them feel seen before they'll agree to be heard.• Own the guest relationship from "yes" to recording day scheduling,pre-interview briefing, reminders, and making sure they actually show up.• Track your outreach pipeline and share weekly updates on leads, responses,and confirmed guests.Key Skills:• Ability to write a cold outreach emails.• Strong research instincts, knowing where to look beyond obvious Googlesearches, what to ignore, and how to connect dots to build a compelling storybrief.• Hindi fluency is a genuine advantage. A large portion of the founders we wantto reach are more comfortable in Hindi than English. Multilingual? That’s abonus!• Basic understanding of how small Indian businesses work, family-run models,bootstrapped growth, first-generation entrepreneur mindset, and why they areoften camera-shy.• Self-driven with strong ownership. There is no micromanagement here. You geta brief, a deadline, and the freedom to figure out how to get there.• Excellent verbal and written communication in both Hindi and English.• Any graduate or student, we care far more about your attitude than yourdegree.You’re Right For This If:• You have cold-called or cold-messaged someone for something that wasn't aclass assignment.• You have talked to a local business owner out of pure curiosity, not for a project.• You consume content about real-economy India, MSMEs, startups, or businessjourneys not because you had to, but because you find it genuinely interesting.• You hear "mango pickle exporter from Rajasthan" and your first instinct is towant the full story, not scroll past.• Rejection doesn't make you quit.
