Job Description – Senior Manager / Marketing (Fiber & Non-Woven Business)Location: KolkataTravel: Frequent travel to Rayong, Thailand & interactions with Japan-based stakeholdersRole Overview:We are looking for an experienced Techno-Commercial Marketing Professional with strong exposure to fiber and non-woven products, who will act as a key interface between international clients (especially Japanese customers), internal production teams, and sales operations.The role requires a blend of business development, client management, technical understanding, and cross-functional coordination.Key Responsibilities:1. BICO (Bicomponent Fiber Business)- Act as a primary liaison for production coordination with key Japanese client(s) - Manage sales planning, dispatch forecasting, and order execution - Handle product costing and pricing discussions - Drive business growth and maintain strong client relationships2. TIAF (Operational & Plant Coordination)- Coordinate waste and off-grade material management - Oversee logistics and dispatch coordination - Support procurement and material planning activities - Assist in resolving operational and employee-related concerns3. NWF (Non-Woven Fabric Business)- Manage sales and account relationships with Japanese customers - Handle customer inquiries, product discussions, and order lifecycle - Identify opportunities for business expansion4. SCF (Specialty Composite Fiber)- Coordinate with international trading partners for business updates - Conduct market research and competitive analysis (Japan market focus) - Track internal production status and align with market demand - Support strategic decision-making through insights and reportingCandidate Profile:✅ Experience- 12–15 years of experience in Sales / Marketing / Business Development - Background in Fiber, Textile, Non-Woven, or Chemical Industry✅ Technical Expertise:- Strong knowledge of: - Polyester / Viscose Fiber - Non-Woven Fabrics - Bicomponent (BICO) Fiber (preferred) - Understanding of production and supply chain processes✅ Language & Communication:- Japanese Language Proficiency (Mandatory) – JLPT N2/N3 preferred - Strong communication skills in English - Ability to deliver impactful product presentations✅ Key Skills:- Techno-commercial acumen - Client relationship management (international exposure preferred) - Cross-functional coordination (production, logistics, sales) - Market research & analysis - Problem-solving and decision-making ability✅ Preferred Background:- Experience working with or managing Japanese clients/companies - Exposure to global business environments - Strong cultural adaptability and stakeholder management skillsEducation:- Master’s Degree in Marketing / Engineering (preferred)
