Experience of design/ review of High Voltage Power Supply equipment such as Dry and oil filled transformers, Reviewing Electrical Designs: Reviewing High Voltage PSI equipment electrical designs,. Ensure that the designs meet the contract requirements and are in compliance with relevant standards and specifications. Knowledge of design of Special transformers such as Scott, V connected transformer and their over-loading capabilities. Coordination with Equipment Vendor and Clients for submissions/approvals of Equipment documentation such as GTP/Drawings/Type Test Report etc. Support to SCM for development of new vendors and carrying out the cost benchmarking for PSI items. Experience in design/ review/ modification/ use of of Air insulated circuit breakers, GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear), CT , PT and lightning arrestors so as to be able to frame Testing Requirements of PSI equipment, Preparation, and review of Type test/Acceptance test , Routine and Site installation tests for PSI equipment used in Sub-station. Attending type/routine testing at Vendor works/third party laboratories with end clients. Coordination with Equipment Vendor and Clients for submissions/approvals of Equipment documentation such as GTP/Drawings/Type Test Report etc. Support to SCM for development of new vendors and carrying out the cost benchmarking for PSI items.  Support to site for carrying out testing & commissioning, Charging of PSI items and development of maintenance schedule for PSI items as per RDSO and IEC standards. Provide training to fellow engineers and client for PSI items working/testing/maintenance and operation.
