Job Scope for Sales Engineer (India): In this role, the Sales Engineer will grow the assigned territory business (India) and develop strategic sales capabilities with our strategic partners to grow potential accounts while establishing Clear-Com and Trilogy (CC/T) as the preferred vendor and influencing project decisions within the region. Through individual action and by working with other sales team members, candidate will qualify, advance, and assist to close sales opportunities while tackling and overcoming tough competitive challenges. In this position, collaboration in an open culture with coworkers in sales, colleagues in other departments and with leaders is required as teamwork and collaboration are critical to sales growth and positive customer experiences. Incumbents must effectively balance their time between developing customer relationships and managing key accounts and partners to maximize the development of the assigned territory for sustainable long-term growth. The Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring that customers receive the support they need to achieve long-term success for current and repeat business. Support of Sales Activities: Acts as the technical lead and provides information/support to the Sales team in the achievement of APAC revenue objectives. Provides training across all levels for customers and distributors. Acts as a technical lead on responses to BID tenders/ RFQs / RFPs. Interacts with both engineering and marketing teams to help define and develop new products or services. Drive growth through channel sales initiatives, including direct engagement with partners. Manage and support channel partners in the region including pricing negotiations, promotional activities, and positioning Clear-Com as a leading brand. Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with channel partners through regular meetings to drive business growth by enhancing brand awareness and articulating Clear-Coms benefits in the market. Monitor market trends and competitor activities at the channel partner level to identify new opportunities and gather competitive intelligence for activity optimization. Collaborate with Clear-Com marketing and product teams to create and execute promotional campaigns, events, and creative visual at trade shows/seminars. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product inventory, pricing, features, and technical specifications to effectively address customer inquiries. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, analytical reports, and maintain client records using 365. Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide updates on performance, goals, and challenges. Represent Clear-Com professionally through customer-focused interactions and trade shows/events. Qualifications: Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and overall PC business use Management skills including contract negotiation/management, product training, account management, developing promotional programs, and developing repair programs Sound working knowledge of Audio principles and Intercom Systems In depth technical knowledge of the application of Intercom to various industries. Experience: Five to seven years direct selling experience including equipment demonstrations Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred Travel: 50%
