Role Purpose:To plan, schedule, monitor, and control project and manufacturing activities related to process equipment, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers, ensuring timely execution, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to project timelines.Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project / Primavera for manufacturing and execution of pressure vessels and heat exchangers - Prepare baseline plans, micro-level schedules, and track progress against milestones - Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure alignment with project timelines - Monitor shop floor activities including fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and testing - Identify critical paths, bottlenecks, and delays, and proactively suggest mitigation plans - Track and report daily/weekly/monthly progress to management - Ensure adherence to customer delivery timelines and contractual milestones - Plan and monitor material availability, resource allocation, and capacity utilization - Support in vendor coordination and outsourced job tracking - Maintain documentation related to planning, scheduling, and progress reports - Assist in cost control and productivity improvement initiatives - Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety normsKey Skills & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes for pressure vessels and heat exchangers - Understanding of codes & standards like ASME, TEMA (preferred) - Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project / Primavera) - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong coordination and stakeholder management ability - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesQualification & Experience:- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Experience: 3–8 years in planning of process equipment / pressure vessels / heat exchangers manufacturing - Experience in heavy engineering / EPC / fabrication industry preferred
