Companies website:  Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations, optimize workflows, and ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing teams, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvements across the production lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Supervise production staff and organize workflows to ensure efficient manufacturing operations Communicate job expectations and monitor employee performance through regular feedback and appraisals Coach, mentor, and discipline employees while fostering a collaborative work environment Plan, schedule, and assign production tasks to meet delivery timelines and production targets Monitor production processes, control points, and equipment to maintain workflow efficiency Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-reduction initiatives Track production progress, resolve issues, and prepare shift-wise production reports Establish and enforce quality standards to ensure high-quality output Coordinate equipment maintenance and evaluate new machinery or techniques Analyze production data and generate performance reports for decision-making Develop and improve systems, procedures, and control mechanisms Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment Manage relationships with union members in line with collective agreements Resolve workforce issues through data analysis and structured problem-solving Stay updated with industry best practices through training, research, and professional networks Contribute to overall team objectives and organizational goals Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field 6+ years of experience in production/manufacturing operations Strong leadership and team management skills Experience in process optimization and cost control Good understanding of quality standards and safety regulations Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
