Key Responsibilities Deep understanding of biological wastewater treatment processes, including aerobic, anaerobic, and hybrid systems. Understanding of microbial consortium, biofilm formation, and nutrient removal. Experience in developing and optimizing microbial consortia for pollutant degradation. Familiarity with metagenomics, bioinformatics, and microbial ecology to enhance treatment efficiency. Skilled in water quality analysis (COD, BOD, nutrient levels, heavy metals). Proficient in data interpretation and process troubleshooting Develop and optimize biological treatment processes using microbial consortia for wastewater remediation. Design bioreactors (batch, continuous, or membrane-based) for lab-scale and pilot-scale studies. Monitor and improve nutrient removal efficiency (COD, BOD, nitrogen, phosphorus). Perform laboratory-scale and pilot-scale experiments for process optimization. Perform physicochemical analysis of wastewater (pH, DO, TDS, heavy metals, etc.). Analyse experimental data using statistical and computational tools. Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (biochemists, process engineers, QA/QC).
