About the role We’re looking for experienced Senior Claims Managers to join our ART Life team and manage a sophisticated portfolio of life, disability and income protection claims. In this permanent role, you'll: Manage a diverse portfolio of complex life, disability, and income protection claims . Implement proactive, holistic claims strategies that achieve strong outcomes for members and ART. Communicate with empathy and respect to understand each member’s medical, social and personal circumstances. Collaborate with employers, health professionals, rehabilitation and community services. Prepare clear written and verbal claims decisions, always ensuring privacy and compliance. Coach and mentor claims team members, sharing technical expertise to uplift capability. Champion continuous improvement opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Contribute to a supportive, high-performing team culture. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: Demonstrated extensive experience in holistic claims management . Experience within the life and/or disability insurance industry . Strong understanding of early intervention, rehabilitation, community and health services. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decisionmaking skills.
