Job Description

Role: State Lead- Learning, Monitoring & Evaluation (LME), Meghalaya Experience: 8-10 yearsSalary: Up to 15-20 LPANoted: Local candidates from Meghalaya or the Northeast  region  will be preferred. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead & Strengthen Data-Driven Decision-Making Serve as the state lead for implementing the LME vision, ensuring alignment with national strategy and state priorities. Steward state-specific frameworks, defining outputs, outcomes, and indicators. Drive real-time monitoring of program data to ensure accuracy and usability. Lead mixed-methods research and longitudinal assessments in partnership with government stakeholders. Develop high-quality learning briefs to inform internal strategy and external policy. 2. Build & Strengthen Data Systems Design and maintain robust databases and dashboards (Google Sheets, app-based, or web) to track state progress. Collaborate with government partners (SCERT, DIETS, etc.) to improve data access and ownership. Uphold ethical standards and quality assurance protocols for all field data collection. Manage state LME budgets, including planning and procurement tracking. 3. Capacity Building & Leadership Train state leadership and government partners to interpret and act on data. Design and deliver workshops focused on program improvement through data. Provide coaching and leadership to team members. Lead donor and impact reporting, contributing state-level insights to proposals and storytelling. 4. Strategic Contributions Represent the LME function in state reviews and innovation pilots. Stay updated on emerging practices in adolescent and school-based well-being. Contribute to an overall culture of adaptive programming and continuous learning. Skills Required: Experience: 8–10 years of expertise in designing and implementing LME frameworks within the education, public health, or social impact sectors. Education: Masters degree required; an $M.Phil$ or $PhD$ is preferred. Skills: * Proven ability to lead large-scale evaluations and manage government stakeholder partnerships. Strong grounding in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Proficiency with data platforms and the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
