Position: Production Manager – Fiber Cable AssemblyLocation: ChennaiExperience: 8-15 YearsWe are looking for a hands-on Production Manager with strong experience in fiber optic cable assembly and testing for mission-critical applications. The role involves leading operator teams, ensuring quality, and driving high-volume production efficiency.Key Responsibilities- Perform and oversee production and testing of fiber cable assemblies used in mission-critical applications. - Lead a team of operators on VSFF connector assembly lines, ensuring adherence to process and quality standards. - Manage assembly tooling, process controls, and yield improvement initiatives. - Handle high fiber count cable assemblies catering to global customers. - Operate and monitor optical testing and quality validation equipment, including: - Loss Test Setup (IL/RL) - Interferometers - End Face Inspection Systems - Support line setup, process optimization, and automation initiatives for high-volume manufacturing. - Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.Required Skills & Experience- 7–12 years of experience in fiber optic cable assembly / optical connectivity manufacturing. - Hands-on experience in VSFF connectors and assembly processes. - Strong understanding of optical testing and inspection equipment. - Experience in high fiber count assemblies for global customers. - Exposure to high-volume production environments and line automation. - Basic leadership experience in handling operator teams.Compensation- Salary will be as per current CTC and experience.
