Position ResponsibilitiesExecute service and change requests within defined SLA and turnaround time (TAT). Participate in scheduled operational activities including Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, deployments, and patching. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest improvements to it. Ensure adherence to cloud best practices and compliance standards using Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools. Assist in identifying root causes and implementing mitigation strategies for critical incidents. Collaborate in planning, designing, and solutioning discussions with cross-functional teams. Monitor cloud resources for health checks, alerts, and notifications to ensure optimal performance and availability. Support both technical and non-technical stakeholders in identifying and optimizing their cloud resources. Handle issues and tasks related to cloud infrastructure including networking, Windows, Linux, and other platform-specific components.Qualifications and Experience RequirementQualifications Essential Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 - 7 years of experience withGCPservices and tools. Experience with one or more of these solutions: Google App Engine, Cloud Function, Cloud run or open source software communities. Knowledge of core data structures and concepts: MVCC, CI/CD Pipelines, HTTP Protocol, web frameworks and common web technologies. Basic System/Network Administrator level knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows systems (from Kernel to Shell and beyond, file systems and client-server protocols). Strong experience designing and building multi-tenant IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions with particular emphasis on Google Cloud; Exposure to SDLC and continuous delivery toolsets: GitLab CI, TravisCI, CircleCI and Jenkins or comparable tools; Knowledge using automation scripting languages: Python, Ansible, Bash or similar; Strong experience with cloud solution design patterns (microservices, messaging, distributed caching, containers, IAM etc.); Experience in designing and deploying cloud-based applications on GCP and Landing Zone Google VPC, Cloud compute engine, Cloud App engine, google API gateway, cloud functions, cloud run, load balancing, cloud web hosting. Experience on working with services used for Data Science – BigQuery, Composer, Vertex AI, DataProc and DataFusion. GCP management & monitoring Tool (Monitoring, Logging, Error Reporting, Trace, Cloud Console) Experience in troubleshooting connectivity issues, VMs, instance groups, OS management, networking issues, storage and service accountsSkillsWorking knowledge of IaC Tools such as(CloudFormation, Terraform etc) Experience with implementing Automation and optimizations using Cloud native and serverless approaches. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good understanding of ITIL processes including incident, change, and problem management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, especially during production incidents and critical outages.
