Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Accountant (CA qualified) to oversee financial operations related to our USA business. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of post-qualification experience and be ready to work in an afternoon shift (3 PM IST onwards). This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with US regulations, and maintaining strong internal controls. Key Responsibilities 1.Monthly Financial Closure - Lead and manage monthly book closure activities. - Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. 2.System Entries & Approvals - Oversee accurate entries at the department level. - Review and approve financial entries in the system. 3.Tax Compliance - Ensure compliance with US state and federal tax regulations. - Oversee preparation and timely filing of sales and use tax returns. - Maintain accurate tax-related data and documentation. 4.Audit & Controls - Coordinate with internal and external auditors. - Ensure audit readiness and compliance with accounting standards. - Strengthen internal controls and financial processes. 5.Data Management - Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. - Ensure data integrity across systems and reports. 6.Procure-to-Pay (P2P) - Manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. - Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to align purchasing activities with financial policies and budgetary controls. - Maintain strong vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to contractual terms Qualifications · Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience. · Knowledge of US GAAP, state and federal tax regulations. · Experience with audits and compliance processes. · Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. · Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
