Strategic Maintenance Planning & Execution Asset Management: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies for all mechanical equipment to ensure high reliability and zero, or minimal, breakdowns. Shutdown Planning: Plan and execute major shutdowns, overhauls, and capital repairs of furnaces and presses, ensuring adherence to strict timelines. KPI Management: Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). 2. Operational Maintenance (Forging & SMS) SMS Maintenance: Manage maintenance of Induction Furnaces, Ladle Refining Furnaces (LRF), Continuous Casting Machines (CCM), EOT cranes, and cooling systems. Forging Maintenance: Oversee the upkeep of hydraulic presses, forging hammers, manipulators, re-heating furnaces, and annealing furnaces. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conduct RCA on repetitive failures using methodologies like 5-Why, Fishbone, and FMEA to prevent recurrence. 3. Team Leadership & Manpower Management Team Leadership: Lead a team of managers, engineers, and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and proactive maintenance. Resource Allocation: Manage shift duties, assign tasks based on skill levels, and provide training for continuous skill development. 4. Cost Control & Spares Management Budgeting: Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget (OPEX) and ensure cost-effective operations. Spares Planning: Identify critical spares and manage inventory levels in collaboration with procurement to reduce inventory costs while avoiding shortages. 5. Safety, Quality & Compliance Safety Adherence: Ensure 100% compliance with safety regulations (lockout/tagout, hot work permits) and achieve "Zero Lost Time Injuries". Audits: Manage documentation and compliance for ISO, IATF, or other regulatory audits.
