We areseeking a highly organized Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the VP of Construction andfield operations team.This role is critical to maintaining schedule discipline, documentation quality, and project visibilityacross multiple homes under construction. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience supportingsingle-family residential homebuilding projects, preferably with a large production builder, and is highlyproficient in Procore .The APM will manage documentation, reporting, scheduling coordination, and constructionadministration to ensure the construction team operates efficiently and meets deadlines.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Administration• Maintain all project documentation within Procore including RFIs, submittals, drawings, permits,and correspondence• Track construction schedules and assist in coordinating trade sequencing across multiple homes• Prepare and distribute weekly construction reports, progress updates, and variance summaries• Maintain accurate project logs including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists• Assist with project budgeting and cost trackingConstruction Coordination• Support the VP of Construction and Director of Construction with daily operational coordination• Assist with trade partner communications and documentation management• Track permit submissions, inspection schedules, and approval timelines• Coordinate procurement tracking and material delivery schedules• Maintain organized project records for each homeReporting & Systems• Maintain construction dashboards and KPI tracking• Prepare progress summaries for leadership and capital partners• Ensure Procore workflows remain current and organized• Maintain standardized document control proceduresQuality & Closeout Support• Track inspection results and coordinate corrective actions• Maintain punch list documentation and closeout tracking• Assist with homeowner documentation and warranty tracking• Ensure project files remain complete and audit-readyREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• 5+ years experience supporting single-family residential homebuilding projects• Experience working with production homebuilders or large residential construction companiesstrongly preferred• Advanced proficiency in Procore• Strong organizational and documentation management skills• Ability to manage multiple active homes and deadlines simultaneously• Excellent written communication and reporting abilities• Strong attention to detail and systems discipline• Ability to work remotely while coordinating with a U.S.-based construction teamPREFERRED EXPERIENCE• Experience supporting production builders constructing multiple homes simultaneously• Familiarity with construction scheduling and trade coordination• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders• Experience with construction cost tracking and reporting• Knowledge of residential inspection processes and construction sequencingKEY TRAITS• Highly organized and detail-oriented• Deadline-driven with strong follow-through• Systems-minded and comfortable working within structured processes• Able to anticipate needs and proactively support the construction team• Professional communication with internal teams and external trade partnersROLE IMPACTThis position will play a key role in supporting the operational infrastructure of a growing homebuildingplatform.
