Role: Senior Production MerchandiserLocation: New Delhi, on-site. Role Overview:The Production Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the end-to-end production process for the brand, ensuring that all orders are produced efficiently and dispatched on time. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and external vendors to maintain quality standards, control costs, and meet delivery timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction ManagementPlan and monitor the production schedule for all styles and orders.Ensure smooth execution of production from sampling approval to final dispatch.Track production progress and identify delays or bottlenecks.Coordinate with the factory team to maintain timelines and quality standards.Vendor & Supplier CoordinationLiaise with fabric suppliers, trim vendors, and other external partners.Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of fabrics, trims, and accessories required for production.Follow up with vendors to maintain timelines and resolve issues quickly.Order & Dispatch ManagementEnsure all orders are completed and dispatched within the committed timelines.Coordinate packing, finishing, and shipment readiness.Cost & Inventory ManagementTrack production costs including fabrics, trims, and manufacturing expenses.Work with vendors and the factory team to optimize production costs.Maintain records of material consumption and inventory.Required Skills & Experience6-8 years experience in production merchandising within a fashion/apparel brand Strong understanding of garment production processes.Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.Strong communication and vendor management skills.Proficiency in Excel or production tracking tools.
