Job Title: Information Technology - Kinaxis Solution ConsultantLocation (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Position is 100% remote, prefer candidates in India but would consider candidates in other geographies such as China, Korea, Malaysia, Argentina etc.. Most of the offshore resources on this specific team though are currently India based.Contract Duration: 6 months Job DescriptionThe Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) Team is the IT Engine that delivers compelling and robust capabilities, products, and solutions to client business and IT by focusing on cost savings, business growth, as well as connecting with partners and customers. This role is part of Supply chain planning and forecasting team at KC. As part of this team, this role will support full horizon end-to-end integrated solutions and will be responsible for developing and supporting Kinaxis related implementation projects or changes undertaken by the DTS organization.Scope: Responsible for solution design and delivery of Kinaxis systemExcellent understanding of Kinaxis solution footprint, with a deep knowledge of Supply planning solutionsLeads/Facilitates business diagnostics, As-Is process analysis and To-Be design workshops and subsequently be able to write a solution design document to support business requirementsAbility to review functional specs and designs, and provide inputs to influence and enhance the quality of deliverablesAbility to review existing systems and tools, and recommend improvement opportunities.Working experience of implementing planning solutions for a large global manufacturer or CPG company. This is preferred but not a must.Ability to configure planning solution of Kinaxis, and be able to implement solution independently with some oversight from Kinaxis architectAbility to influence business decisions on technology, through experiences and by sharing industry best practices and methodologiesAbility to deliver in fast paced environments using agile methodologiesAssist Delivery manager and Kinaxis architect in project planning including detailed project plan, estimates and timelines.Setup and coordinate user acceptance testing, and support final acceptance and critical phase sign-off by the business ownersCommunicate project risks and issues that may have a negative impact on the project schedule, scope or budgetQualifications:Education required:Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or similar fieldsMBA / Master’s degree or equivalent in Supply chain / Logistics is preferred nut not a mustTech Experience: 8+ years of experience in implementing supply chain solutions with deep expertise in Kinaxis or similar supply planning solutions.5+ years of proven experience in Kinaxis supply planning implementations is mandatory. Project, Enhancement, and/or POC experience is required. Experience as a user or superuser is not counted.Implementation experience and functional knowledge of material planning systems and processes is desirableHand-on experience of integration between Kinaxis and SAP S4 HANA/SAP ECC is highly desirable but not a mustExperience of collaborating with multiple cross-cultural teams spread across geographies to gather requirements, make design decisions, and for testing and deliveryGood time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines • Excellent stakeholder management & good communication skillsKinaxis experience could be in either Demand Planning or Supply Planning or both. 5+ years experience in Kinaxis is desired but we can consider candidates with lesser experience too, if they identified as having the right skills and experience.Relevant Kinaxis experience (proper hands-on at solution consultant level) they are expecting is at least 5+ years. Kinaxis experience could be in either Demand Planning or Supply Planning or both.Feedback from previous interviews are that most are Junior-level or not at the technical expertise the team is seeking. This is a niche skillset, and most are just trying to learn Kinaxis but do not have deep knowledge of it and the functionality piece. Seeking senior-level candidates for this position.
