Job description:We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to join our dynamic team as AGM/DGM - B&C Goods. This role is based at Bhuj (Gujarat) and requires a candidate who is either located in or willing to relocate/travel to the region. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in sourcing and procurement of a wide range of industrial materials, with a preference for those from the heavy machinery manufacturing or steel industry.Key Responsibilities:Lead procurement activities for B&C Goods across multiple categoriesDevelop and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveryNegotiate contracts and manage supply chain risksCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and financeMonitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunitiesEnsure compliance with company policies and industry standardsRequired Expertise:Candidates must have hands-on experience in procuring a wide array of industrial materials, including but not limited to:Energy & Lubricants: Fuel, Coal, Furnace Oil, Lube OilsPackaging & Chemicals: Packing materials, Chemicals, Zinc rich PaintMechanical & Electrical Components: Fasteners, Tools, Spares, MS Wires, Electricals, Refractory, Heater, Hardware, Bearings, Pipe Fittings, Gear Couplings, Cables, Pumps/Motors, Hydraulic Fittings, Gear, Grinder SparesSafety & Consumables: Safety equipment, Consumables, StationerySpecialty Materials: Metal Bush, Woobler, Steel, Die Steel, Welding supplies, Bolt Nuts, InsertsAdministrative & IT Supplies: Admin materials, IT hardwareAutomotive & Instrumentation: Vehicle spares, InstrumentsMaterial Handling & Raw Materials: Equipment and raw material sourcingPreferred Background:Minimum 15 to 20 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing setupPrior experience in Heavy Machinery Manufacturing or Steel Industry is highly desirableStrong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
