Role Overview : Will be responsible for safeguarding company assets by preventing shrinkage, theft, fraud, and operational losses across stores and warehouses. The role ensures implementation of loss prevention strategies, compliance with SOPs, and protection of inventory, cash, and fixed assets while supporting a safe and secure retail environment. Primary Responsibilities: - Monitor store activities to identify suspicious behavior and potential theft. - Conduct regular and surprise audits of inventory, cash handling, billing processes, and stock transfers. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for negative inventory on a daily basis to ensure inventory accuracy and control shrinkage. - Ensure strict implementation of loss prevention policies and SOPs across all units. - Analyze shrinkage reports and identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions. - Oversee CCTV monitoring, EAS systems, and other surveillance technologies. - Investigate internal and external theft cases and submit detailed incident reports. - Coordinate with store operations team to ensure compliance with inventory control processes. - Conduct training and awareness sessions for store staff on loss prevention practices. - Engage with local law enforcement agencies wherever required. - Support new store openings with risk assessment and security implementation. - Monitor high-risk products and implement preventive action plans. - Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance of incidents and audit findings. - Minimize operational and reputational risks affecting the organization. Education & Professional skillset: - Graduate in any discipline (Certification in Loss Prevention / Security Management preferred). - Good knowledge of retail audit processes, shrinkage control, CCTV systems, and surveillance tools. - Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools for data analysis. Desired Experience: - Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in Loss Prevention / Retail Audit / Shrinkage Control. - Experience in apparel or value retail chain format will be preferred.
