The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-availability indoor RF solutions, ensuring optimal coverage, capacity, and network performance.Key Skills Experience with iBwave software/Ranplan tools with good knowledge on 3D Modelling & Design (certification is a plus). Good Knowledge of Indoor Small Cells, DAS (Distributed Antenna System), Wi-Fi, Repeater design requirements and solutions based on venue. Deep Knowledge of active and passive DAS components e.G. remote units, RRH, RDS, Ericsson DOT, DRAN, DAS OEM models, coaxial and fiber cable, antennas, splitters. Experience with DAS design, commissioning, CW measurement, optimization, and troubleshooting. Extensive knowledge about the RF Walk Testing and Optimization of inbuilding DAS solutions. Demonstrate ability to complete iBwave designs, optimization and commissioning activities independently as projects require, while working with a sense of urgency. Experience in designing multi-sector DAS and OEM-based multi-operator shared networks for large venues such as airports, railway stations, hotels, stadiums, malls, office buildings, and shopping complexes. Deep knowledge in indoor propagation models and link budget /EIRP calculations.Role Activities IBS Design based on GSSR input & drawings. 3D modeling, scaling and alignment with accuracy. Mapping of correct building materials. Solution planning (Small cell/DAS) as per the building category. Small cell/DAS Antenna & Device along with Cable Routing/ Connection and routing on the layout. IBS Design, Input Validation of building information and study for all floors to validate if sufficient information is available for IBS design. Small cell/DAS Antenna & Device placement (including Rearranging & Device Renaming) along with Cable Routing Connection and routing based on building information. Modification of Materials or walls including addition of missing information if any based on Design of Extension requirement at sites.Good to haveHands-on experience with RF design tools (MapInfo, QGIS, Google Earth, AutoCAD tools). Strong understanding of GSM, DCS, WCDMA, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi. Knowledge of RF propagation, link budget calculations, and interference management. Experience in indoor coverage planning and optimization.
