Job Summary Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Lead Engineer (Plant Engineering) - Requires a full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed college/university. - 2 to 12 years of experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants and conventional/supercritical thermal power plants, preferably with EPC/Consultancy companies. - Experience should cover design, proposals/bidding, engineering, procurement, and construction activities for power plants. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Capable of fast decision-making, guiding teams of engineers, and handling project engineering activities for multiple projects. - Familiarity with major equipment: Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Boilers/HRSG, Heat Exchangers, and Balance of Plant Equipment. - Knowledgeable in Indian and International codes/standards (HIS, ASME, HEI, TEMA, NFPA, etc.). - Proficient in computer applications; knowledge of Thermo flow software and SPPID is an added advantage. - Willingness to travel for short/long-term deputations to Mitsubishi Power (MPW) Japan, international offices, and project sites. Key Responsibilities: - Review customer specifications and prepare deviations/clarifications. - Prepare basic system designs, process schematics, P&IDs, HBDs, and water balances. - Perform equipment sizing calculations (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, etc.). - Demonstrate knowledge/experience with HRSG & Boilers. - Prepare inquiry/purchase specifications, proposal documents, and bid evaluations. - Select and manage vendors; review vendor drawings. - Coordinate internally with departments such as Civil, Electrical, Piping, and Instrumentation. - Participate in meetings with customers, vendors, and consortium partners. - Liaise with vendors and site teams during project execution. - Conduct site visits during erection and commissioning as required.
