Role Objective:Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships, and securing orders/projects in the wind energy manufacturing and solutions segment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute business development strategy for wind turbine components, EPC solutions, or wind energy projects.Identify new customers, markets, and partnership opportunities.Lead customer acquisition efforts with IPPs, EPC contractors, utilities, and renewable energy developers.Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, proposal submission, negotiations, and contract closure.Collaborate with engineering, project, and supply chain teams to ensure competitive proposals.Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and competitor activities in renewable energy.Build and maintain long-term client relationships.Prepare revenue forecasts and achieve business targets.Represent company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.Lead and mentor business development team members.Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business Management (MBA preferred).8 –15 years of experience in business development or sales within wind energy, renewable energy, heavy engineering, or manufacturing.Strong network within renewable energy developers, EPC companies, and utilities.Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.Understanding of wind energy project lifecycle and supply chain.Willingness to travel for client and project meetings.Key Skills:Strategic sales & negotiationMarket expansion & client acquisitionContract managementFinancial and commercial acumenStakeholder managementLeadership & team management
