This team is responsible for growing the penetration of Paytm’s PA PG business in the Indian merchants. The Business Payments team is responsible for designing disbursal solutions for large and mid-sized corporates for their vendor/ customers/ channel partners/employees. The team also plays a key role in tax saving solutions for employees of top corporates.About the role:We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager Lead to head and grow our merchant account management function. The role requires strategic ownership of enterprise client relationships, leading a team of KAMs, and driving revenue through strong account retention, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives in the digital payments ecosystem.Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of enterprise huntersresponsible for acquiring large merchants for Paytm’s payment gateway and payment solutions. Drivenew enterprise merchant acquisitionby identifying and targeting high-value merchants across industries such ase-commerce, travel, gaming, marketplaces, digital platforms, and large enterprises . Develop and executestrategic hunting plansto penetrate priority merchant segments and unlock new revenue streams. Build relationships withCXOs, founders, and senior decision-makersto drive new partnerships and enterprise deals. Own and manage astrong enterprise sales pipeline , ensuring consistent deal flow and conversion. Leadend-to-end enterprise sales cyclesincluding solution pitching, proposal development, commercial negotiations, contract closures, and merchant onboarding. Drive adoption ofPaytm’s payment ecosystemincludingUPI, Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, BNPL, Payment Gateway APIs, and POS solutions . Work closely withproduct, technology, and integration teamsto deliver customized payment solutions for enterprise merchants. Identifynew market opportunities and strategic merchant partnershipsto accelerate growth. Monitormarket trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developmentsto refine acquisition strategy. Ensurestrong merchant activation and early transaction growthafter onboarding. Deliver againstnew merchant acquisition targets, revenue growth, and payment volume KPIs .Qualifications & Skills Engineering graduate / post graduatefrom a reputed institute. 8–12 years of experience in enterprise sales, merchant acquisition, or business developmentwithinPayments, Fintech, or BFSI . Minimum3+ years of experience leading enterprise sales / hunting teams . Proven track record ofclosing large enterprise deals and driving new merchant acquisition . Strong understanding ofpayment gateway ecosystem, APIs, integrations, risk frameworks, and settlement processes . Ability tobuild CXO relationships and open doors for strategic partnerships . Strongnegotiation, commercial, and deal-closing capabilities . Excellentpresentation and stakeholder management skills .
