Job Description Position: Sales Manager - Building Automation (IBMS) Department: Building Automation / ELV Division Location: Mumbai (Head Office) – Travel Required Experience: 7 – 10 Years Education: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Work Location: Mumbai – Head Office Reporting To: Departmental Head & Management Salary up to - 8 LPA to 12 LPA + Variable pay About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager - Building Automation (IBMS) to lead business development and marketing activities for our ELV & Building Automation projects. The candidate must have strong technical understanding and market exposure in ELV systems and should be capable of generating inquiries, meeting consultants, and converting opportunities into business. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Inquiry Generation - Identify and develop new business opportunities in Commercial, Industrial, Residential, IT Parks, Data Centers, and Infrastructure projects. - Generate inquiries from: - Consultants (MEP / ELV) - Architects - PMC firms - Corporate clients - Prepare business development plans and monthly sales targets. Client & Consultant Interaction - Meet customers, consultants, and decision-makers regularly. - Conduct technical presentations of ELV & IBMS solutions. - Coordinate with estimation & design team for techno-commercial proposals. - Participate in pre-bid meetings and tender discussions. Product & System Knowledge (Mandatory) Candidate must have working knowledge of: - CCTV Surveillance Systems - Access Control Systems - Public Address (PA) Systems - Fire Alarm Systems - Building Management System (BMS) - Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) Should understand system architecture, BOQ reading, specifications, and basic costing concepts. Market Intelligence & Strategy - Track competitor activities. - Identify new product lines and market trends. - Develop strategic relationships with OEMs and system integrators. - Support branding and promotional activities. Reporting & Coordination - Maintain CRM / inquiry tracking system. - Submit weekly & monthly marketing reports. - Coordinate with project execution team for smooth handover after order booking. Skills & Competencies Required - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong presentation and negotiation skills. - Ability to handle techno-commercial discussions. - Self-motivated and target-driven. - Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits. - Professional personality with strong relationship-building capability.
