Senior Renewable Energy Specialist (State Lead) - Pan India.PwC is looking for candidates with8+ years of experience ,B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical/Mechanical/Power/Energy) + MBA/M.Tech (preferred) , and5+ years of experience in distributed / rooftop solar . Interested candidates fully meeting the above requirements may fill the form Without filling this form candidature will not be considered)and email their profiles toin_renew_cv@ , mentioning the reference to this post.Locations:Capitals cities of Haryana / Rajasthan / Madhya Pradesh / Telangana / Assam / Odisha / Andaman & Nicobar Islands / Delhi NCR.Minimum Qualification: • B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Mechanical / Power Systems / Energy Engineering • MBA or M.Tech in Energy Systems / Power Systems / Renewable Energy (preferred)Must Experience: • Minimum8+ yearsof total experience in power and renewable energy sector • At least5+ years of experience in distributed solar / rooftop solar implementation • Hands-on experience working withDISCOMs, State Energy Departments, or State Nodal Agencies • Proven experience inprogram management, coordination, and implementation support.Advantage: • Prior experience inmanagement consulting or technical assistance assignmentswith Government/ PSU clients • Familiarity withinternational development agency–funded programs(World Bank, ADB, etc.) • Experience inlarge-scale government schemes , institutional strengthening, and MIS-driven monitoring • Exposure toregulatory engagement(net‑metering, billing mechanisms, RTS regulations).Key Responsibilities: • Lead and operationalizeState-level Project Management Unitsfor rooftop solar implementation • Provide strategic and operational support toState Energy Departments, DISCOMs, and SNAs • Identifyoperational, regulatory, and institutional bottlenecksand recommend actionable solutions • Oversee end-to-endbeneficiary and vendor lifecycle– application, installation, commissioning, and subsidy disbursement • Coordinate with stakeholders on planning, reviews, and implementation progress • OwnMIS, dashboards, KPIs, monthly progress notes, and quarterly reports.Skills Required: • Strong understanding ofrooftop solar programs, DISCOM operations, and implementation workflows • Experience in preparingimplementation plans, SOPs, reports, and dashboards • Excellentprogram management, stakeholder coordination, and leadership skills • Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation capabilities • Ability to deliver undertight timelines in multi-stakeholder environments.
