Mathematics Instructor for AI/ML Location: Sierra Learning Academy Sierra Learning Academy is looking for a passionate and experienced Mathematics Instructor for AI/ML to bridge theoretical mathematics with real-world AI and Machine Learning applications. Role Overview You will mentor and instruct student cohorts on the mathematical foundations powering Machine Learning and Generative AI. The ideal candidate can simplify complex mathematical concepts and connect them to practical ML pipelines. Key Responsibilities Deliver applied Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Probability for engineering and AI learners Translate complex theorems (e.g., Bayes theorem, Eigenvectors) into ML applications Explain mathematical concepts behind Transformers, Neural Networks, and Vector Databases Mentor students through hands-on problem solving and real-world use cases Technical Skills Required Strong foundation in Advanced Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Calculus Expertise in Gradient Descent and Self-Attention mechanisms Understanding of Vector Database mathematics Prior teaching or training experience preferred Academic Qualification BE/MS/PhD in Mathematics or Computer Science with relevant teaching experience.
