Role Overview The Engineer  will support in BESS & Grid Analysis  pertaining to  planning, design, analysis and implementation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) integrated with renewable energy projects and power grids.The role involves grid studies, system modelling, techno-economic evaluation and support for project development and policy implementation. 2. Key Responsibilities BESS Planning & Design (i)Conduct technical feasibility studies for BESS projects with grid integration (ii)Support sizing and configuration of battery systems for renewable integration, peak shaving and grid stability. (iii)Evaluate different battery technologies (Li-ion, LFP, flow batteries etc.). Grid Analysis & Power System Studies (i)Perform load flow, short circuit  and stability analysis using tools such as ETAP, PSCAD or MATLAB. (ii)Study grid integration of renewable energy (solar/wind/other RE technology) with BESS. (iii)Analyze grid congestion, voltage regulation and frequency control requirements. Project Development Support (i)Assist in preparation of DPRs, feasibility reports and technical specifications . (ii)Support preparation of RFPs / tenders for BESS procurement and EPC contracts. (iii)Conduct techno-economic analysis and financial modelling for storage  & RE  projects  Policy & Regulatory Support (i)Support implementation of grid codes,OREP policy 2022, CEA regulations  and storage policies. (ii)Analyze ancillary services, RTC/FDRE power requirements  and market opportunities for BESS. Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement (i)Coordinate with utilities, DISCOMs, transmission companies, regulators, and technology providers. (ii) End to End Support for project implementation and monitoring. Requirements 3. Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Power Systems M.Tech in Power Systems / Renewable Energy (preferred)   4. Required Skills (i)Strong knowledge of power system analysis and grid integration (ii)Experience with BESS design and storage technologies (iii)Familiarity with CEA regulations, grid codes, Electricity Act, 2003 and renewable policies (iv)Knowledge of solar, wind, and hybrid renewable projects and upcoming RE technologies.   5. Preferred Experience (i) Minimum 5 Years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects (ii) Exposure to BESS tenders, EPC contracts  and  system integration (iii) Previous experience Work with DISCOMs,ESCO, transmission utilities,GoO,GoI  or with any  energy consulting firms   6. Key Deliverables (i)Grid integration studies for renewable + storage projects (ii)BESS sizing and system design reports (iii)Technical inputs for RFPs and project tenders details.   7.
