7+ years of experience in Oracle SOA / Middleware administration with hands-on exposure to OCI and Oracle IDCS (IAM) Job Summary Oracle SOA Administrator responsible for administering Oracle SOA Suite and WebLogic platforms across on-prem and OCI environments, with additional responsibility for identity and access management using Oracle IDCS. The role ensures secure, stable, and highly available middleware platforms supporting enterprise integrations. Key Responsibilities SOA & Middleware Administration Install, configure, and administer Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c Administer Oracle WebLogic Server domains, clusters, managed servers Manage OSB, BPEL, Mediator, Human Workflow, BAM, and adapters Configure JMS, JDBC, JTA, connection pools, and adapter endpoints OCI Infrastructure (Basic) Work with OCI core services: Compartments, IAM concepts Support SOA/WebLogic workloads running on OCI compute Coordinate with cloud teams for load balancer, networking, and security Assist with HA and DR setups in OCI Identity & Access Management IDCS Administer Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) Configure users, groups, roles, and application assignments Integrate WebLogic / SOA / OCI applications with IDCS Configure SSO, OAuth2, SAML, and federation basics Manage IDCS application roles mapped to WebLogic roles Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and SSO issues Coordinate with security teams on IAM policies and compliance Environment & Operations Support DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD environments Perform patching, PSUs, CPUs, and middleware upgrades Handle deployments, redeployments, rollback, and release support Provide L2/L3 production support, incident & problem management Monitoring & Performance Monitor middleware using OEM, WebLogic Console, logs Basic monitoring of OCI resources and alarms Perform JVM, heap, thread, adapter, and composite tuning Conduct root cause analysis for performance and availability issues Security & High Availability Configure SSL, certificates, keystores, and security policies Implement HA, clustering, load balancing, and failover Support DR drills and documentation Automation & DevOps Support Automate admin tasks using WLST and shell scripting Support CI/CD pipelines (deployment and environment readiness) Coordinate with DevOps and cloud teams Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with SOA developers, DBAs, infra, cloud, and security teams Maintain runbooks, SOPs, access models, and architecture documents Required Skills Core Middleware Skills Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c Oracle WebLogic Server administration Oracle Service Bus (OSB) Oracle adapters (DB, FTP, File Server, JMS, AQ) Linux/Unix administration WLST scripting
