Video Editor & Videographer Navodaya Education Trust | Raichur, Karnataka About the Role We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & Videographer to produce high-quality promotional, event, and social media video content that showcases the spirit of Navodaya Education Trust, from campus life and academic milestones to student success stories and brand campaigns.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, shoot, and record high-quality videos using professional cameras and equipment for promotions, events, interviews, reels, and institutional storytellingSet up lighting, audio, framing, and composition for both indoor and outdoor shootsEdit raw footage into polished, engaging videos using industry-standard toolsAdd transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, background music, sound effects, color grading, and branding elementsCreate short-form content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platformsCollaborate with marketing, communications, and academic teams to understand creative briefs and timelinesMaintain consistency in tone, style, and quality as per NET brand guidelinesOrganize, archive, and back up all video assets and project filesRequired Skills & ExperienceProven hands-on experience in videography and video editing (portfolio required)Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or Final Cut ProSolid knowledge of camera operation, lighting setups, audio recording, and basic motion graphicsCreative eye for storytelling, composition, pacing, and visual flowAbility to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-changing requirementsExcellent attention to detail and understanding of social media video trends & formatsPreferred QualificationsDiploma / Degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or related fieldExperience in in-house / corporate / educational video productionBasic photography skills (still shots, event coverage)Familiarity with color correction, sound design, and motion graphics
