As a Senior Lead Engineer - Frontend at Sequoia, you will be responsible for technically leading the overall Frontend PWA client architecture for all Sequoia applications that run across channels (Android, iOS, Web, etc. ) and building completely themeable web applications that can be white-boxed to our clients.Stack details: and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.Lead a team of developers (front-end/UI), as well as contribute as a hands-on front-end developer.People management and technical management.Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.Make swift decisions on the way to build the product.Articulate the approach to all the relevant team members.Implementation of security and data protection.Integration of data storage solutions.Understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3.Understanding accessibility and security compliance.Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.Understanding the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.Requirements:14+ years of experience in the design and implementation of microservices.Stronghold in algorithms and problem-solving.Hands-on experience in coding languages like React.js and D3.js.Good understanding of server-side templating and CSS preprocessors.Innovative and able to reach and collaborate with other team members and functional teams.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Most importantly, live our Sequoia day in and day out.
