Company Description BlocksBridge is a research and communications firm focused on the energy + compute ecosystem, spanning Bitcoin mining, data centers, power markets, and energy infrastructure. We work with operators, developers, and investors to help them understand the market, communicate clearly, and grow. You will also support the Energy Investors Forum (EIF), a high-signal conference designed to connect energy companies, large power consumers (including data centers and Bitcoin miners), and investors. Role Description You will own execution across social content, short-form video, and paid acquisition to grow our audience and support EIF’s go-to-market.Organic social Own the content calendar (LinkedIn and X; YouTube Shorts/Instagram Reels as needed). Write and publish posts that convert: announcements, industry insights, speaker-style highlights, and partnership spotlights. Repurpose long-form material into snackable posts (threads, carousels, quote cards, clips).Short-form video Create 4 to 10 short videos per week (15 to 60 seconds). Edit founder-led clips, event explainers, industry breakdowns, and highlight reels. Add captions, light motion graphics, and strong hooks for retention.Paid growth and performance marketing Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads (other channels as needed). Set up tracking (UTMs, pixels, GA4 basics) and run A/B tests on creatives and audiences. Improve CTR, CPL/CPA, and conversion rates through iterative optimization.Analytics and reporting Weekly reporting on growth, engagement, CTR, CPL/CPA, and conversion metrics. Clear recommendations on what to scale, what to stop, and what to test next.Requirements 4+ years managing social media for a brand, event, media company, or B2B business. Strong short-form editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar). Hands-on experience running paid campaigns (LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads required). Strong copywriting and an ability to simplify complex topics. Reliable, responsive, and comfortable working with weekly targets.Nice to have Experience marketing conferences/webinars or B2B events. Familiarity with energy, power markets, data centers, AI infrastructure, or Bitcoin mining. Basic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator, Figma, simple motion graphics).Tools (must be comfortable with) Video editing + motion CapCut (desktop/mobile) and/or Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects (nice to have) Descript (nice to have) Caption workflows (auto-captions + manual cleanup) Design Canva (required) Photoshop/Illustrator or Figma (nice to have) Basic templates for thumbnails, lower-thirds, and on-screen text Social media management + publishing Native schedulers: LinkedIn, X, YouTube/Instagram Scheduling tools: Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, Metricool, or Sprout Social (any one is fine) Community management: comment monitoring, DMs, and basic moderation Paid ads + tracking LinkedIn Campaign Manager Google Ads (Search + YouTube; Display nice to have) Meta Ads Manager (optional) GA4 basics; Google Tag Manager (nice to have) UTM setup and reporting in Google SheetsCompensation Market competitive, based on experience and output.
