Shopify Developer Job Description (Client-Aligned – Advanced / MLM / Enterprise)Role: Senior Shopify Developer (B2B / MLM / Custom App Architecture)We are looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer to work on complex B2B + MLM architecture involving custom app development, checkout extensions, multi-country commerce, and advanced integrations.The ideal candidate should be capable of extending Shopify beyond native capabilities, not just implementing themes or basic store setups.Key Responsibilities:1. Shopify Custom Development & Architecture● Build and maintain custom Shopify apps using:○ Shopify Admin APIs (GraphQL & REST)○ Shopify Functions○ Checkout UI Extensions● Extend Shopify capabilities for:○ MLM workflows (PV/BV logic, attribution)○ Distributor hierarchy○ Commission triggers● Architect scalable solutions for high-volume stores.2. Shopify B2B & Multi-Channel Commerce● Implement and optimize Shopify B2B workflows:○ Company accounts○ Custom pricing○ Distributor segmentation● Experience with:○ Shopify Markets○ Multi-country configuration○ Currency conversion logic3. Attribution & Tracking Logic (Critical Requirement)● Implement advanced:○ Referral attribution logic○ Affiliate tracking○ Distributor order credit logic● Handle:○ Cookie/session-based attribution○ Server-side tracking○ Privacy-safe tracking implementations(This was one of the biggest concerns raised by the client.)4.
