Job PurposeThe Drawing Coordinator is responsible for planning, controlling, coordinating, and maintaining all project drawings and technical documents, ensuring that latest approved drawings are issued to site and consultants and that execution strictly follows approved designs.Key Responsibilities1. Drawing Management & ControlCoordinate preparation, review, revision, and issue of all architectural, structural, and MEP drawingsMaintain drawing registers, revision history, and document control logsEnsure only latest approved “Issued for Construction (IFC)” drawings are used at siteWithdraw and archive obsolete drawings2. Inter-Disciplinary CoordinationCoordinate between architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and site execution teamsIdentify and resolve drawing clashes, discrepancies, and constructability issuesOrganize and lead drawing coordination meetings3. Site Support & ClarificationsProvide drawing clarifications to site engineers and contractorsEnsure timely issuance of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisionsSupport site teams in understanding complex details and specifications 4. Compliance & Quality ControlEnsure drawings comply with project specifications, codes, standards, and client requirementsVerify drawings align with BOQ, contracts, and approved materialsAssist QA/QC team in resolving drawing-related NCRsCheck drawings as per approved checklists and approve before issue to site.5. Planning & TrackingPrepare drawing submission schedules aligned with project milestonesTrack consultant deliverables and follow up to avoid execution delaysHighlight potential drawing-related risks to project management6. As-Built DocumentationCoordinate preparation and approval of as-built drawingsEnsure final documentation is accurate and handed over as per contractKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of construction drawings and detailingKnowledge of Architectural, Structural & MEP coordinationProficiency in AutoCAD / Revit / BIM (preferred)Familiar with document control systemsExcellent communication and coordination skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving abilityQualification & ExperienceB.Tech / B.E. in Civil / Architecture8–10 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in residential real estate projects Key DeliverablesError-free, coordinated GFC drawingsTimely drawing submissions and approvalsZero execution delays due to drawing issuesAccurate as-built documentationOptional Add-On (for senior roles)BIM coordination and clash detection
