Group Head- Accounting, Consolidation & ReportingOur client is a leading Indian conglomerate with presence in various sectors like Infrastructure, EPC , Real Estate etc. They are currently seeking a senior Finance professional to handle group’s financial reporting, implementation of new accounting standards, implementation of consolidation tools, accounting matters of acquisition/disposal of JVs /Subsidiaries, impairments, fair valuation etc. In addition to consolidation at parent level the person should also manage the consolidation at sector level. The incumbent will also assist the CFO in M&A, fund raising activities.KRAsManage the Group’s financial reporting obligations, with responsibility for preparation and review of compliant full year /half year/quarterly consolidated accounts and standalone financials as per the requirement of SEBI and Companies Act 2013.Coordinate with statutory auditors for closure of audit of Holding Company, subsidiaries and JVsBuild productive working relationships with stakeholders to understand their business operations and the financial information needs of end users.Manage relationships with others across the Group to achieve alignment in key business strategies and decisionsPresenting financial information to promotors, senior executives, stakeholders, Audit committee and board membersEstablish and Implement financial reporting system including new accounting standardsCollaborate, design, implement and review finance systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevant practices.Ensure reporting functions and responses to ad hoc requests for financial related information are appropriately delivered.Handle all technical accounting matters and complex accounting issues in all the sectors in which the Group operates and close the same with the statutory auditors.Handling all complex valuation related matters for equity valuation, Impairment milestone valuation.Collaborate, design, implement and review finance systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevant practicesConsolidation of annual/monthly budgetsEducation & ExperienceQualified Chartered Accountant with 18+ years of experience in consolidation of financial statement of listed entities in large Indian/multinational organisation having various subsidiaries and JVsExperience in Ind AS/IFRS, MIS, Valuation and fund-raising, merger & demerger activities.Have experience in complying with the financial information required for fund raising purpose bankers’ lawyers, investors, auditors.Have good understanding on handling offer document related information.Coordinate with bankers/lawyers/auditor on Comfort letter and arrangement letter.Analytical thinking and trends analysis – can see trends in data and can compile data to arrive at an accurate solution. Gathers and sorts relevant data for analysis.Coaching people – acts as a leader, as a mentor, supports others in professional development.Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft applicationsThe person should also have international exposure as it require interaction with International Partners and their auditors.
