Job Title: Project Manager TrainerLocation: RemoteExperience Required: 15+ YearsIndustry: Core Medical Device Industry Position Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Project Management professional from the Core Medical Device Industry to serve as a Project Manager Trainer. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams in regulated medical device environments and will be responsible for delivering structured training programs to project managers, aspiring PMs, and cross-functional stakeholders.The trainer will leverage deep industry expertise, including EU MDR and global regulatory standards, to provide practical, real-world training aligned with current industry best practices. This role requires strong instructional capability combined with strong domain knowledge in medical device product sustainment, remediation, and new product development.Key Responsibilities:Deliver structured training programs on Project Management within the medical device industry.Provide training on remediation of on-market products to Global State of the Art standards in alignment with industry leaders such as Baxter International (or similar global medical device organizations).Train participants on managing small to medium-scale projects impacting business plans.Educate teams on leading multidisciplinary and globally distributed teams for medical device product sustainment.Provide guidance on developing and executing robust project plans in compliance with established policies and regulatory frameworks.Conduct training sessions on:Project scheduling and planning (using Microsoft Project)Resource allocation and risk managementChange management processesBudget and cost management (labor, expense, capital)RACI matrix developmentVendor and stakeholder managementProject documentation and reportingDeliver workshops on regulatory compliance including EU MDR and other international medical device regulations.Mentor professionals on achieving product quality goals, time-to-market objectives, and cost targets.Provide real-world case studies and simulation-based training aligned with PMP methodologies.Offer interview preparation and practical coaching for Project Management roles in medical device companies.Assess trainee progress and provide structured feedback and improvement plans.Customize training modules based on client organizational needs.Training Areas:Medical Device Product Lifecycle ManagementProduct Remediation & Sustainment ProjectsGlobal Regulatory Compliance (EU MDR, ISO 13485, FDA)Change Management & Risk MitigationCross-Functional LeadershipBudget & Cost Control in Regulated EnvironmentsVendor & Contract ManagementPMP Framework & Best PracticesRequired Qualifications:15+ years of experience in Project Management within the Core Medical Device Industry.Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments.Hands-on experience with product remediation, sustainment, and/or new product development projects.Strong knowledge of EU MDR and international medical device regulations.Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field).PMP Certification preferred.Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications:Experience delivering corporate training programs.Experience mentoring or coaching project managers.Background in global medical device organizations.Experience developing training curriculum and learning materials.
