Role: Data & Analytics Consultant (AWS / Snowflake / Lakehouse)Location: India – Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, GurgaonExperience: 6+ YearsEngagement Type: Consulting Support Role (Offshore)The consultant will work closely with Solution Architects and senior stakeholders, contributing to architecture implementation, data engineering, and modern lakehouse initiatives. While prior consulting experience is preferred, it is not mandatory — strong technical depth and communication capability are essential.This role requires collaboration with US-based stakeholders and participation in requirement discussions, solution design, and delivery execution.Key ResponsibilitiesEngagement Support & Requirement UnderstandingParticipate in requirement gathering sessions with business and technical teams.Translate functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.Support senior consultants and architects in solution articulation and documentation.Contribute to client discussions with structured and clear communication.Architecture & ImplementationContribute to design of modern Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architectures.Build and support solutions using:AWS ecosystem (S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, Redshift, etc.)Snowflake (Warehousing, Snowpark, Streams/Tasks, Data Sharing)Open table formats (Delta Lake / Apache Iceberg – good to have)Data Engineering & Platform EnablementKnowledge of ingestion and transformation pipelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones.AI & Modern Data Stack Enablement Support AI/ML readiness initiatives (feature pipelines, curated datasets).Contribute to adoption of:Lakehouse patternsOpen table formats (Delta / Iceberg)Evaluate and experiment with new data technologies under guidance.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience6+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing / Analytics.Experience working on cloud-based data platforms.Exposure to client-facing environments is preferred but not mandatory.Technical Expertise (Mandatory)Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services.Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and performance optimization.Solid understanding of:Data Warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, performance tuning)Lakehouse architecture fundamentalsModern ELT patternsExperience building scalable data pipelines in cloud environments.Good to HaveExposure to Delta Lake / Apache Iceberg.Understanding of AI/ML data preparation workflows.Experience supporting US-based clients.Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.Communication & Professional SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Clear written and verbal communication.Ability to work in a structured consulting engagement model.Comfortable working with US stakeholders across time zones.
