We regularly support leading law firms, fiduciaries, and closely held businesses across the U.S. in matters involving valuation disputes, forensic accounting investigations, and expert testimony.Our Litigation Support Valuation practice sits at the intersection of valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation strategy. We are frequently engaged in disputes requiring reconstruction of financial records, identification of non-operating or personal expenses, tracing of funds, assessment of economic damages, and development of defensible expert opinions suitable for court, mediation, and IRS scrutiny.Position OverviewWe are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate with 2-4 years of relevant experience to join our Litigation Support Valuation team. This position is based in India and will work directly with U.S.-based senior professionals on active litigation and dispute engagements.This is a technical production role. The primary responsibility of this position is to build, document, and stress-test financial and valuation models that support expert conclusions. The role is execution-focused and requires strong analytical discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work with incomplete or disorganized financial information common in litigation settings.The ideal candidate has direct experience in litigation-related valuation or forensic accounting work, particularly in marital dissolution or other dispute contexts, and is comfortable working with large datasets and complex Excel models under tight deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport valuation and forensic accounting engagements involving closely held businesses, partnership interests, and complex asset structures.Build and maintain detailed Excel-based models, including income approach, market approach, asset-based analyses, and economic damages calculations.Perform forensic accounting procedures under supervision, including:Tracing of cash flows across multiple accounts and entitiesIdentification and normalization of personal, non-operating, or disputed expensesReconstruction of incomplete or unreliable financial recordsAnalysis of related-party transactions and owner compensationOrganization and indexing of discovery and financial documentsReconcile general ledgers, tax returns, and financial statements to ensure internal consistency.Prepare well-organized supporting schedules and workpapers with clear documentation and audit trails.Draft technical sections of internal memoranda and valuation reports for senior review.Conduct industry and market research to support valuation assumptions.Perform quality control procedures on calculations, assumptions, and data integrity.Coordinate with U.S.-based team members across time zones and meet established litigation deadlines.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline required.3+ years of experience in valuation, litigation support, forensic accounting, or dispute-related financial analysis.Direct experience supporting marital dissolution matters or other litigation engagements is required.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, financial modeling, and data reconciliationDemonstrated experience with financial tracing and reconstruction of financial records.Experience performing calculations common in divorce or dispute settings, such as income normalization, personal goodwill analysis, support calculations, or damages modeling.Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.Strong written English skills suitable for drafting technical content in expert reports.Ability to manage multiple assignments with precision and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail and accuracy.Familiarity with U.S. litigation processes, discovery materials, and evidentiary standards is preferred.Progress toward or interest in professional credentials such as CA, CPA, CFA, CVA, ASA, or equivalent is preferred.Demonstrated experience in several of the following areas is highly desirable:Marital dissolution valuations and income analysisForensic accounting and financial tracingEconomic damages and lost profitsShareholder or partner disputesEstate and gift tax valuationsBankruptcy, insolvency, or restructuring-related valuationsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation commensurate with experience.Exposure to complex U.S.-based litigation and valuation matters.Flexible remote or hybrid work arrangements.Structured skill development in financial modeling, forensic analysis, and report preparation.Opportunity for advancement based on performance and technical development.How to ApplyUpload your resume here: the resumes uploaded to this link will be considered)
