The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for overseeing purchasing processes, issuing and managing purchase orders and requisitions, maintaining vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement of quality materials and equipment. The role also involves monitoring purchasing budgets, analyzing procurement data for cost optimization, and collaborating with internal teams to meet the company's operational needs. Qualifications Knowledge of Purchasing Processes, managing Purchase Orders, and handling Purchase RequisitionsStrong skills in Contract Negotiation and supplier/vendor managementProficient Analytical Skills for evaluating procurement options and optimizing costsFamiliarity with inventory management systems and basic accounting principles is a plusEffective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and vendorsAttention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple procurement activitiesBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldExperience in the manufacturing, construction, or mining industry is desirable
