Job Title: Senior Associate/ SeniorMode of Work: WFO/ Hybrid/RemoteExperience: 3-4 yearsRole Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Audit Associate / Senior Associate to support financial services & commercial audit engagements, particularly in the banking, credit unions, insurance, and other commercial sectors. The individual will work under the direction of the client’s onshore team, preparing end-to-end audit workpapers, performing substantive testing, and ensuring audit documentation is completed in accordance with client standards and applicable IFRS frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Perform end to end audit fieldwork: including planning forms, risk assessments, walkthrough documentation, substantive procedures, and audit testing.Prepare complete and well-referenced audit workpapers in CaseWare (and/or Inflo).Understand and follow client audit methodology and documentation standards.Communicate regularly with the onshore team to clarify tasks, receive feedback, and update status.Handle complex testing areas (e.g., investments, capital activity, revenue recognition, compliance testing) under guidance.Ensure timely completion of assigned areas and assist with PBC tracking and audit wrap-up.Qualifications & Skills:3–5 years of external audit experience (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred).Prior exposure to financial services clients (Banks, Credit Unions, Insurance, other commercial industries) is preferred and mandatory. Proficient in using CaseWare; exposure to Inflo is an advantage.Actively pursuing ACCA (midway or nearly completed).Strong understanding of IFRS audit frameworks in particularly IFRS 3, IFRS 9, IFRS13, IFRS 16, IFRS 15 and others.
