Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Legal Officer / Manager with strong expertise in real estate matters to support legal operations within the banking sector. The role involves property-related due diligence, documentation, compliance, and representation before revenue authorities and courts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in real estate law and sound knowledge of banking-related property. Job Responsibilities : Conduct legal due diligence and title verification of immovable properties. Issue legal opinions and title certificates for property and loan-related transactions. Draft, vet, and finalize real estate documents including sale deeds, lease deeds, mortgage deeds, agreements, indemnities, and conveyance documents. Handle post-purchase liaison work such as mutation, transfer of records, and related documentation with government authorities. Advise on property laws, stamp duty, registration processes, and RERA compliance. Assist in the execution and registration of property documents. Handle and support litigation, disputes, and legal proceedings related to real estate matters. Draft legal notices, replies, affidavits, and pleadings for property-related cases. Represent and appear before Revenue Courts and concerned authorities as required. Provide legal support for purchase, sale, lease, and transfer of properties. Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and proper maintenance of legal records and documentation. Job Requirements : Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) – mandatory. Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in real estate legal matters. Prior exposure to banking or financial institution property documentation will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of legal documentation, land laws, and court procedures. Fluency in English, Konkani, Marathi, and Hindi is required. Preferred: Male candidates from Goa (as per client requirement). Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
