Role Overview We’re looking for a hands-on Horticulturist to manage plant health, implement a structured care program, support propagation, and ensure plants are ready for dispatch/retail/projects. This role is on-site and requires strong plant knowledge and execution discipline. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of plants (health, growth stage, pest/disease symptoms). Run a structured plant care program (watering, nutrition schedule, pruning, repotting, hygiene). Monitor and manage pest & disease control measures (preventive + corrective). Analyze soil/media conditions and recommend amendments (mix, nutrients, pH, drainage). Maintain proper drainage and irrigation systems; identify and fix recurring issues. Propagate plants through seeding/cutting/grafting (as applicable). Maintain accurate records of plant care and propagation (losses, success rate, cycles). Coordinate plant readiness with Operations/Dispatch/Retail/Customer Support teams. Provide horticultural guidance internally (SOPs, seasonal care, issue diagnosis). Source and procure plant-care materials within budget; track usage and expenses. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture / Agriculture / related field. Minimum 1 year experience in plant care / nursery / ornamental plants. Strong knowledge of indoor & ornamental plants. Good communication and coordination skills. Detail-oriented, problem-solver mindset. Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for trackers and reporting.
