Job Description Project Manager – Doors & Modular Installations Department: Projects Reporting To: Head – Operations Location: Site-based (travel required across project locations) Experience Required: 5–10 Years Industry Preference: Doors / Modular Furniture / Interior Fit-outs / Construction Role Overview The Project Manager – Doors & Modular Installations will be responsible for end-to-end execution of multiple site projects involving door systems, frames, hardware, and modular installations. The role requires strong technical expertise, site management capability, and a customer-focused approach to ensure timely project completion with high quality standards. The candidate will lead site teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure smooth project delivery from dispatch to final handover. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Execution Prepare project execution plans and installation schedules. Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams. Ensure site readiness before installation. Track milestones and ensure timely completion. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. 2. Site Management & Technical Supervision Supervise installation of: Wooden doors Fire-rated doors Frames and hardware Modular joinery systems Verify site measurements and drawings. Ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standards. Conduct inspections and close snag lists before handover. 3. Customer & Stakeholder Coordination Act as single point of contact for clients and site teams. Attend site meetings and provide regular updates. Resolve on-site coordination challenges. Maintain strong developer, builder, and contractor relationships. Ensure customer satisfaction and smooth handovers. 4. Team Leadership Lead installation supervisors and site workers. Allocate manpower efficiently across projects. Monitor team productivity and discipline. Conduct regular safety and quality briefings. 5. Cost & Commercial Control Monitor installation budgets. Control wastage and material damages. Track variation work and approvals. Support milestone billing and documentation. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily/weekly progress reports. Ensure completion certificates and handover documentation. Maintain snag closure and compliance records. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or related field. 5–10 years of relevant experience in doors, modular furniture, or interior fit-outs. Experience handling builder/developer projects preferred. Proven track record of managing multiple projects. Technical Skills Strong understanding of door systems and hardware. Knowledge of fire-rated door installations. Ability to read architectural and joinery drawings. Good knowledge of site sequencing and coordination. Proficiency in MS Excel and project tracking tools.
