Ltd. is looking for an experienced Flash Butt Welding Engineer for its ongoing Metro Track Project in Mumbai . The candidate will be responsible for executing and supervising flash butt welding activities in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Execute and supervise flash butt welding of rails as per approved procedures and project drawings. Ensure proper alignment, welding parameters, and joint quality during welding operations. Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards. Operate, monitor, and maintain flash butt welding machines and related equipment. Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and quality teams for smooth workflow. Maintain welding records, reports, and daily progress documentation. Ensure adherence to safety norms, railway/metro standards, and site protocols . Troubleshoot welding defects and implement corrective actions. Assist in training and guiding technicians and welders on site. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification. 5–10 years of hands-on experience in flash butt welding, preferably in Metro / Railway Track Projects . Strong knowledge of rail welding standards, tolerances, and quality control procedures . Ability to work under site conditions and project timelines. Good coordination and communication skills.
