Scheduled to open in 2026, the campus is designed to foster innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration by connecting students, faculty, researchers, and industry partners to real-world challenges.About the RoleThe Registrar will be a senior institutional leader responsible for overseeing academic administration, governance, and regulatory compliance at the India campus. This role is central to establishing systems that uphold academic integrity, align with Indian higher education regulations, and deliver efficient, student-focused services.The Registrar will oversee student records, registration, examinations, academic scheduling, certifications, and regulatory reporting, and will act as a key liaison with the parent university to ensure academic standards and governance protocols remain globally consistent.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Administration & GovernanceLead and manage academic administrative functions including student enrolment, academic calendars, course scheduling, examinations, and certification processes.Maintain secure and accurate academic records aligned with institutional and legal standards.Serve as Secretary to statutory bodies including Academic Council, Boards of Studies, and Examination Boards.Quality Assurance & Regulatory ComplianceOversee academic quality assurance processes, program audits, teaching evaluations, and institutional effectiveness initiatives.Ensure compliance with Indian regulatory bodies such as UGC, AICTE, NAAC, NIRF, and other statutory authorities.Prepare and submit regulatory filings, accreditation documents, and compliance reports.Work closely with the parent university’s academic governance teams to maintain globally aligned standards.Student Policy & Academic ConductDevelop and implement policies related to academic progression, attendance, credit transfers, re-registration, and academic integrity.Monitor student academic standing, graduation readiness, and appeals.Lead disciplinary and grievance processes in collaboration with Academic Affairs and Student Services.Parent & Guardian CommunicationServe as the point of contact for parent/guardian communication regarding academic progress, compliance, and documentation needs.Ensure all communication adheres to confidentiality and institutional policy.Institutional Risk, Policy & Legal OversightDraft, maintain, and review academic policies and SOPs.Assess and manage risks related to academic operations and compliance.Coordinate with legal counsel and internal audit teams for inspections, investigations, and regulatory reviews.Contribute to strategic planning, accreditation readiness, and institutional development.Represent the institution at external forums, regulatory visits, and conferences.Qualifications:Professional Experience10–12 years of relevant experience in higher education, including 5+ years in a senior role such as Registrar or Deputy RegistrarStrong knowledge of Indian higher education regulationsExperience with international or transnational education models preferredAcademic CredentialsMaster’s or doctoral degree in any disciplineAdditional certifications in Higher Education Policy, Quality Assurance, or Academic Governance are an advantageEvidence of ongoing professional development in global higher education trends and compliance frameworksRequired SkillsStrong understanding of UGC, AICTE, NAAC, NIRF and related regulatory frameworksProficiency in academic management systemsExceptional attention to detail, documentation rigour, and organisational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in compliance-driven or high-stakes contextsHigh ethical standards and integrity in decision-making
