Visit for more details.JOB SCOPEA successful Student Engagement Advisor plays a critical role in initiating first contact with prospective students, qualifying their study-abroad intent, and creating strong interest in overseas education pathways offered by The Mentors Circle.This role acts as the first structured bridge between student enquiries and Overseas Education Counsellors. The primary objective is to establish rapport, understand the student’s profile and intent, and schedule high-quality counselling sessions (Video / Telephonic) with senior counsellors.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES- Engage with assigned student enquiries and initiate outbound contact promptly via calls and virtual platforms. - Qualify leads by understanding Academic background, Study destination interest, Intake timelines and Budget readiness - Build trust and credibility through clear communication, empathy, and active listening. - Educate students at a high level about overseas study pathways and next steps. - Schedule Video Counselling (VC) / Telephonic Counselling sessions with Overseas Education Counsellors. - Coordinate schedules between students and counsellors to ensure smooth handovers. - Maintain accurate records of interactions, remarks, and follow-ups in CRM / tracking systems. - Perform regular follow-ups to ensure counselling attendance and engagement continuity.BASIC ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA- Minimum 2 years of experience in: - Study Abroad - EdTech admissions - Education sales / counselling support - Graduation is mandatory. - Prior experience working in a 6-day work week environment. - Currently working as an Individual Contributor. - Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed assigned targets.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES- Excellent verbal communication skills, especially in English (Hindi mandatory; regional languages are a plus). - Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate with students and parents. - Strong listening skills with a problem-solving mindset. - Ability to persuade and motivate students to attend counselling sessions. - Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and CRM systems. - High level of discipline, follow-up orientation, and ownership.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)- Number of qualified counselling sessions scheduled. - Counselling show-up ratio. - Lead-to-counselling conversion rate. - Follow-up efficiency and CRM hygiene. - Quality of profiling shared with counsellors.WHY JOIN THE MENTORS CIRCLE?- Specialist Brand: Be part of one of India’s established study-abroad consulting teams with strong expertise across the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, and Australia. - Career Growth: Clear progression paths into Senior Counselling, Application Management, or Team Leadership roles. - Impact-Driven Work: Play a direct role in shaping international education journeys for students and families. - Collaborative Environment: Work alongside experienced counsellors, visa teams, and university partners.
