Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced VTOL Production Lead to oversee the end-to-end production of Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing, production planning, and quality assurance, with a strong background in managing complex assembly lines and cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the production of VTOL platforms, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost, and quality standards. - Develop and implement production strategies, processes, and best practices for efficient manufacturing. - Coordinate with design, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of components. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs. - Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements. - Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of critical components. - Monitor production KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management. - Mentor and develop a high-performing production team.Required Qualifications & Skills:- Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Aerospace, Electronics & Communication (ECE), or Mechanical Engineering. - Experience: 15+ years in aerospace or defense manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Proven expertise in VTOL or UAV production processes. - Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality management systems. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Familiarity with defense industry compliance and certification standards.Preferred:- Experience in composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques. - Exposure to defense projects and working with government agencies.
