Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents using defined SOC processes and playbooks.Execute, maintain, and enhance incident response playbooks to ensure timely and effective handling of security events.Perform threat intelligence analysis to identify vulnerabilities and emerging threats.Coordinate with IT, security teams, and Japanese stakeholders for incident handling and reporting.Document security incidents, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.Support security audits, vulnerability assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.Skills & Qualifications4–5 years of hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or cybersecurity operations role.Mandatory experience in creating, executing, and improving SOC incident response playbooks.Mandatory proficiency in Japanese language (spoken and written).Strong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security tools.Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and application security.Experience with incident response and basic forensic analysis methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.Good communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
