Location: Chandivali, AndheriExperience: 10–15+ Years (Ladies & Kids Woven Garment Production)Job SummaryWe seeking an experienced Head of Merchandising to lead and manage the merchandising function for Ladies and Kids woven garments. This role oversees the complete merchandising lifecycle, from product development and sampling to bulk production and final delivery, while guiding and mentoring the merchandising team to ensure operational excellence and timely execution.Key Responsibilities• Lead and manage the merchandising team across all stages of product development and production.• Oversee product development, sampling, approvals, and bulk production execution for Ladies and Kids woven garments.• Provide technical guidance, planning support, and problem-solving assistance to the merchandising team.• Coordinate closely with buyers, design, sourcing, production, quality, and logistics teams.• Ensure accuracy in order management, costing, documentation, and internal reporting.• Track delivery schedules and proactively address risks related to quality, timelines, or capacity. • Maintain strong buyer communication and alignment with client expectations.• Review production status regularly and drive corrective actions where required.• Build a strong merchandising culture focused on ownership, accountability, and delivery performance. Leadership Skills & Core Expertise• Proven experience heading and leading merchandising teams.• Strong expertise in Ladies & Kids woven garments.• In-depth understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and finishing processes.• Excellent planning, execution, and team management capabilities.• Ability to manage high volumes, multiple buyers, and tight delivery timelines.• Strong communication and coordination skills for buyer and internal stakeholder management.• Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to step in during critical phases.Experience & Qualifications• 10–15 years of experience in Ladies & Kids woven garment merchandising.• Proven track record of leading merchandising teams in export houses or fashion manufacturing setups.• Strong exposure to international buyers and global delivery standards. • UG: Any Graduate• PG: Any Postgraduate (preferred)
