Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced VTOL Production Lead to oversee the end-to-end production of Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing, production planning, and quality assurance, with a strong background in managing complex assembly lines and cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the production of VTOL platforms, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost, and quality standards.Develop and implement production strategies, processes, and best practices for efficient manufacturing.Coordinate with design, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of components.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of critical components.Monitor production KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.Mentor and develop a high-performing production team.Required Qualifications & Skills:Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Aerospace, Electronics & Communication (ECE), or Mechanical Engineering.Experience: 15+ years in aerospace or defense manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven expertise in VTOL or UAV production processes.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality management systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with defense industry compliance and certification standards.Preferred:Experience in composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques.Exposure to defense projects and working with government agencies.
