Role's Brief:Ensuring effective contract management for any and all contracts that the Company may enter into and managing timely and effective leasing and aircraft induction within Company Fleet to support Company’s Fleet expansion program. Establishing compliance standards and designs improvements to internal contract implementation structures to minimize legal risks by understanding current and proposed Company business operations. Validating appropriate dispute statuses from internal and external third-party sources to ensure appropriate course of legal action is being pursued. Monitoring ongoing disputes and proposing strategies to mitigate and resolve and avoid any future disputes so as to keep financial implications to the minimum. • Negotiate and handle on an end-to-end basis various types of contracts such as service agreements, lease agreements, purchase agreements, repair agreements, technical services agreement etc. This will include discussions with internal and external parties, drafting, reviewing, creating consensus, negotiations with counterparty, execution and closing. • Assist in the process of delivery and redelivery of aircraft on an ongoing basis, including co-ordination with lessors, collating filings to be made, and communicating with various internal and external stakeholders throughout the process. • Provide advise amongst different departments within Flynas on issues related to contracts and also the ensure that contracts and other arrangements being entered into by the Company are compliant in all respects. • Support creation/improvisation and implementation of internal processes for ensuring smooth operations and closing of assignments in a timely and efficient manner while mitigating legal risks for the Company. • Review/Study/analysis of documents, pleadings, correspondences, and communications relevant to any existing litigations and preparing summary of key litigations. Preparation of Litigation Status Trackers and regular updation. • Meetings/discussions with team members across different departments to identify and discuss technical issues in ongoing or potential material litigations. • Review/drafting of responses to any letters/correspondences/communications concerning ongoing or potential dispute related matters across verticals. • Liaising and working with external foreign counsels/solicitors on all stages of any key litigation matter.Required Job SpecificationsAcademic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university.Professional Experience Minimum 8-10 years of experience in legal and management practice areas concerning the Aviation Industry.
