Over the past few years, we’ve expanded beyond the podcast into a dedicated mobile application that is now central to the future of the business. We are a lean operation, focused on sustainability, product quality, and long-term growth — and we are now ready to bring our first full-time engineering partner in-house.Job Summary / Role Overview We are looking for a Founding Full Stack Flutter Developer to join as the first long-term engineering hire and take ownership of our mobile application end-to-end. This role is not about maintaining a small feature set or working within a large team. You will be responsible for understanding the product deeply, shaping technical decisions, improving architecture, and reliably shipping to production. You’ll work directly with the founder on product requirements and with an experienced designer on detailed UI/UX execution. This is a critical, long-term role for someone who has built and shipped real products from scratch and wants to own something meaningful.Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end development of a production Flutter application (iOS and Android) Translate detailed user stories and product requirements into scalable technical solutions Design, implement, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models Make sound decisions around system architecture, performance, and scalability Collaborate closely with the founder on product direction and prioritisation Work directly from detailed Figma designs and pixel-accurate redlines Test your own code thoroughly and ensure production readiness Manage the full release lifecycle, including deployments to the App Store and Google Play Identify and proactively address technical debt and stability issues Take full ownership of reliability, maintainability, and long-term health of the codebaseRequired Qualifications / What We’re Looking For Strong, hands-on experience with Flutter in production environments Proven experience as a true full stack developer (frontend, backend, and DevOps) Demonstrated experience building and shipping a product from scratch Strong understanding of system design and application architecture Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with databases Ability to work independently without heavy oversight or project management Clear, proactive communicator comfortable working directly with a founder Strong product intuition and understanding of how users interact with mobile appsPreferred Skills / Nice to Have Experience with audio, media, or content-driven applications Familiarity with subscription models, payments, or monetisation features Experience stabilising or refactoring existing production systems Startup or scale-up experience where you owned large parts of the product Experience working remotely with distributed teamsWork Schedule As the founder is based in the United States (Eastern Time), collaboration will be aligned accordingly: Monday to Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET // 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM GMTBenefits / What We Offer Annual compensation range: ₹22 – ₹30 lakhs per annum (depending on experience and location) Fully remote role with long-term stability Founding-level ownership and influence over technical direction Direct partnership with the founder — no layers of management Opportunity to grow into a long-term technical leadership role
